Obituary for Wilma Schaafsma
Wilma Schaafsma, age 91 of Holland, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus with family by her side on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Providence Nursing Home.
Wilma was a member of Harderwyk Ministries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick in 2008.
She is survived by children:
Kaylene and Ron Johnson of Holland
Sue and David Brondyke of Holland
Kraig and Nancy Schaafsma of Holland
Kurt and Lynn Schaafsma of Zeeland
14 Grandchildren:
13 Great-Grandchildren
Brother-in-law:
Clair Schaafsma of Grand Rapids
Many nephews, nieces, and cousins
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 10:00am at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, in Holland. Reverend Henry Admiraal will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2014 from 5:00-8:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services. Memorial contributions may be given to Providence Health Care, 285 State Street, Zeeland, MI 49464, or Resthaven Maple Woods, 49 East 32nd Street, Holland, MI 49423.
