Barbara Jeanne Comeau, age 86, of Fennville, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Providence Health Care in Zeeland.

Barbara was a member of Ganges United Methodist Church. She was a bank officer in Fennville for Citizen’s Bank, which later became Shoreline Bank in Fennville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in December 2014, daughter Renee Lynn in 1974, and sister, Helen Bosman.

She is survived by her children:
Connie and Michael Kemnic of Zeeland
Randi and Ed Raak of Holland
Kim and Robert Leslie of Allegan
8 Grandchildren
12 Great-Grandchildren

A memorial service will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2:30pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, in Holland. Granddaughter Rev. Devon Herrell will officiate. Burial will be in Fennville Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015, from 1:30-2:30pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure or to the National Reye’s Syndrome Foundation.
